PROCEDURE FOR VERIFICATION OF DEGREE/S
- The degree can be verified only by an employer/Head of the Institution/The Embassy or High Commission/Reputed Foreign and Indian Credentials Verification Agencies.
- The Concerned office that wants the verification shall have to make a formal request on their proper letterhead addressed to the Dean (Examinations), Examination Branch-IV, Room No.207 (2nd Floor), the University of Delhi, Delhi-110007 (exam4@exam1.du.ac.in) with following information and documents:
- Particulars of the student such as the (a) name of the student, (b) examination passed, (c) year of passing, (d) roll number of the final year examination, (e) name of the college/institution.
- Copy of the degree to be verified.
- Online fee receipt.
- Payment online only by accessing the link https://fee.du.ac.in/.

* Rs.500/- for a degree under 6 years old (Per Degree Certificate). * Rs.1000/- for over 6 years old degree (Per Degree Certificate). |
For Abroad

* US$ 50 for a degree under 6 years old (per degree certificate). * US$100 for an over 6 years old (Per Degree Certificate). |

Note :
- Verification of degree or mark sheet gets delayed as the VERIFICATION AGENCY often does not pay the required online fee. In such cases, the student must share the copy of the fee receipt with Examination Branch at the email ID given below or submit it to Window No. 4 (Ground Floor)/Examination Branch-IV, Room No.207 (2nd Floor), Examination Wing, North Campus, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007.
- The verified document will be sent to the office where the request has been received.
- Upload all supporting documents in a single PDF file, which should be legible and clear; blurred documents will be considered an incomplete application.

Please check whether the verification organization/agency has paid the required fee/s. The verification process takes at least fifteen working days. In such cases, the student must share the copy of the fee receipt with Examination Branch at the email ID given below or submit it to Window No. 4 (Ground Floor)/Examination Branch-IV, Room No.207 (2nd Floor), Examination Wing, North Campus, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007. The verified document will be sent to the office where a request has been received. |
